Should You Run From Jesus Always?

Psalm 103:9

He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.

This is the last promise involving the word "always" that I found in the Bible.

This part of this Psalm is a listing of the attributes of God and how the bless believers.

An atheist once asked me, "Why does God allow all the evil in the world?" The answer is that while God currently allows evil in the world now, there will come a day when that ends... and all evil is eliminated. But, you Mr. atheist probably do not want that day to come. Why? Because the day when God ends all evil is the day of judgment.

God is being incredibly patient with us. Putting up with our evil... our sin. He is continually giving us second chance after second chance to: recognize He is God, and trust in Him as the only one who can save us from sin. When the end comes, and God ends evil, thesecond chances also end.

God will not always strive with us... He will not always put up with our law breaking behavior (sinning). That day will come when He unleashes His anger... when He no longer keeps His anger in check... and His wrath will be justly poured out on sinners (law breakers).

So this verse is a warning. Turn to Jesus Christ. Trust Jesus as your savior today.
